Taxes on orders:
Applicable taxes apply on all orders:
Canada: GST and PST to British Columbia Residence, GST to Residence in the rest of Canada.
USA & other countries: No sales tax outside Canada.

Customs:
In regards to customs, primarily because of NAFTA agreements, commerce and transit between Canada and the United States is not too difficult to deal with.  If fact, we ship a number of our items from Washington State, USA, because it is so close. Contact Us for specific information and questions about any of this.

Shipments with an invoice value less than $2000 US dollars are eligible for "informal entry" which basically means that you don't need to use a Customs Broker.  We are able to arrange delivery to US shippers and do customs clearance on orders that qualify for informal entry.  For items valued over $2,000, buyers are responsible for lining up their own customers brokers though there are several we can recommend, most of whom we have used previously.  Please contact us about this.

US customs charges 2.5% import duty on used auto parts.  Shipments over $2000 US dollars require the use of a Customs Broker, see http://www.ups-scs.ca/

For EPA info pertaining to the importation of Diesel engines, see http://www.epa.gov/otaq/imports
Form 3520-1 on-road, Form 3520-21 non-road.

Vehicle Importation:

Shipping of large or heavy items:
All of our large ticket items are shipped via truck, it is either too expensive or too heavy for traditional carriers like UPS or FedEx to ship some of these larger items.  In these situations, deliveries most often have to be sent to a business address or must be picked up at a loading dock somewhere.  However, items can be shipped anywhere from rural to urban locations with no problems.  In most cases, estimates are available before shipment.  Contact Us for specific information and with questions about any of this.

Shipping of smaller items:
For smaller ticket items, we use either FedEx, UPS, or the Canadian / US postal systems depending on item.
In most cases, estimates are available before shipment.
